Today I was invited to an opening of an exhibition of Ger Heesen.

See that I only show his older work. He also has great abstracts.

Vandaag was ik op een hommage/expositie van Ger Heesen.

Zie nu dat ik alleen foto's heb van zijn oudere werk, hij

'Huge' crochet

 

“It’s the most fun I’ve had with any textile,” said Ms. Barnes.

 

Megan Novak, an artist, crocheting a giant square on Ms. Barnes’s roof. She’s using a fat dowel stick and her hands as a crochet hook. Her yarn is lengths of unspun, fluffy merino wool. Ms. Novak wears a white cotton organdy apron to keep the fibers from sticking to her. Without it, she said, “it’s a lint fest.”
